Our next clubnight will be on the 12th of January 2023, when we will be treated to a demonstration by club Patron Gary Rance. Gary's demonstrations are always entertaining and highly skilled. The competition theme for this month is to make a mushroom or toadstool turned from branch wood. We hope to see you there!

Welcome to the web page of the Oxon Woodturners which is associated to the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB).
We have been established for nearly 30 years as a focus for woodturners in and around Oxfordshire with over 50 members with a wide range of experience and ages. Our meetings (second Thursday of every month at 7.00pm) - see map on contact page - are informal and consist usually of demonstrations or club hands-on evenings. There is always something for both beginners and established turners; new members are always welcome.
We are delighted that the well-known turner Gary Rance is the Patron of our club. Gary is considered one of the fastest and most accurate production woodturners in the UK and is one of only a few whose income comes solely from woodturning. Gary has been a popular demonstrator at the club, combining infectious enthusiasm with pre-eminent skill, and we look forward to a long and happy collaboration with him.
Please contact one of our committee members for more information on the club. Our constitution is available here.
